About

RockGenius is your introduction to some of the stories behind rock songs.

It’s not always easy to discern what the singer’s screaming about, especially when the themes on the songs are purely metaphorical and full of references to stories we are not be familiar with. My goal with this site is to provide explanations to the people that don’t have as much free time as I do.

This blog was inspired by RapGenius, an awesome site for the people interested in rap lyrics. I’m a lazy ass dude who decided to go through the simple blog route, but I admire them for their work (and thank them for many, many explanations).
